MISSION STATEMENT

We are aiming to cover the cost of meals for those that cannot otherwise afford them.

WHY WE DO IT

We understand that “fine dining” or nice meals are often times not affordable, especially for those with interest that either work in the industry or are studying. We don’t believe in creating an exclusive atmosphere, as we believe that food should serve as a means to foster community.

HOW WE FUND IT

Currently, our operation is solely run by one person, the chef. Since we don’t have any employees, 100% of tips raised can go to cover the cost of meals for others. Simply put, any tips you give will help someone else enjoy our food. We also accept some gifts - or trades - as a means of covering your meal. If you have a plate, a cookbook, a bottle of wine, or anything that you think we’d be interested in, reach out to us. or bring the item in. If we are interested in your offer, we will cover your meal with the agreed value of the item. If it is a bottle of wine for instance, usually it is very easy to attribute monetary value to it. If the bottle cost $20, then we will give you $20 worth of food. If it is a found or crafted item, we will negotiate!
